The full form of SSD is Solid State Disk. It is a memory device, just like a pen drive, it only has a little more space and it is a bit more sophisticated device. SSD is a non-volatile memory that stores data continuously on side-state flash memory. SSD is an updated version of Hard Disk that has been made using new technology and it is lighter and smaller in weight than ordinary hard disk.
